#AdventurousApril: Volunteering at Spring Fling

19 Apr

So if you are a native Tucsonan, you are well aware of the Spring Fling carnival held at the University of Arizona. However, for those who are not aware of the annual carnival it is the largest student-run carnival in the nation planned by the executive board of the student government at the UA.

Even after living here for many years, I have never been to the Spring Fling. So to be a little more adventurous, I attended the carnival, and to add more to the experience I became a volunteer!

It was truly an experience, and definitely adventurous. I had the chance to bond with my club members too, along with helping out the other staff working there. Even though I volunteered on the last day of the Spring Fling and it was raining, there were  still many people who came with their families to have fun and enjoy the rides, food and other forms of entertainment! As field supervisors, we were given training, walkie talkies, and they even provided lunch for us!

If you ever get the chance to go to Spring Fling, you should definitely take the opportunity and attend it with  your friends and family members, or even volunteer if you are a student at the UA!

Never forget to be more adventurous 🙂
