Stay Safe, My Friends!

Who loves to travel?

I’ve been fortunate enough to have family in almost every state in the US, and neighboring countries, so I’ve been blessed with the ability to travel A LOT. I am not a pro-traveler, however, I do know some tips that’ll ease your worries and increase your overall trip safety!

  1. BRING A BACKPACK

For all my bare wallet-carriers or purse wearers, BACKPACKS WILL SAVE YOUR LIVES. Not only can you hold more things in it, but you will have ONE unit to take care of, and it comes with a ZIPPER to protect your goodies!

No need to stress, your backpack will have your back so you can dance the break away!

  1. ESSENTIALS

In your handy-dandy backpack, you should have:

  • Napkins / tissues
  • CHAPSTICK
  • Hand sanitizer
  • BATTERY CHARGER FOR YOUR PHONE
  • Reusable water bottle
  • BANDAIDS
  • Disposable grocery bag -muddy shoes? Change of clothes? Someone needs to puke?

JUST BE PREPARED!

  1. SNACKS

THIS IS IT’S OWN BULLET POINT BECAUSE SNACKS WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE. TRUST ME. Traveling drains the life out of you, and before you know it, you’re HANGRY. You’re not you when you’re hungry. So just pack some snacks, ya feel?

  1. PRINT YOUR ITINERARY

Even if you have your boarding pass on your phone, sometimes they don’t scan through at the airport! Printing it out will give you something SOLID to have, to reference to, and if you’re going abroad, you can show someone where you need to go, what hotel you’re staying at, or anything like that.

ALSO, PASSPORTS, CASH, AND OTHER IMPORTANT ITINERARY SHOULD BE WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES, OR IN THE SAFE AT THE HOTEL! If you can locate it, you won’t stress too much!

  1. BRING SOME CASH

If you’re going to be buying small things, why go through the hassle and risk of pulling out your card in front of a giant group of people? I’m not saying take $300 in cash and pull it all out of your wallet at once, but I mean, some cash will help you budget and limit your spending.

AND THOSE ARE MY TIPS, fellow travelers! I hope you have the safest of trips, and that you make smart decisions! Adventure is out there! Just make sure you’re safely chasing it!
